Infection Preventionist RN Full Time


The Infection
Control Preventionist (ICP) is responsible for the design, leadership and
management of a multi-role, comprehensive, hospital-based Infection Prevention
and Control Program. Responsible for coordinating Infection Control Committee activities. Ensures Infection Prevention and Control
Program is compliant with regulatory and state standards, and Commitment to
Quality program requirements. Directs Infection
Control Committee and leads Infection Prevention Continuous Survey Readiness
Team. Conducts concurrent, proactive monitoring of all hospital-acquired infections,
acts as a change agent to reduce/prevent hospital-acquired infections, provides
leadership, direction, and administration in all aspects of the Infection
Prevention and Control Department, and acts as an infection control resource to
other departments, medical staff, and leadership team. Provide region-wide
infection prevention oversight to assure standardization of practice and
adherence to established standards and regulations.



Bachelors of Science in Nursing or related field preferred.Has knowledge and experience in patient care practices, microbiology, asepsis, disinfection/sterilization, adult education, infectious disease, communication, program administration, and epidemiology.


Minimum of three years clinical experience in a healthcare setting or three years of experience in infection control.

Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:

Knowledge of regulatory requirements preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
