Quality Coordinator Full Time

Assist with management of performance measurement and improvement activities designed to improve patient care and patient safety. Assist with implementation of quality/improvement objectives related to Performance Improvement Program, Patient Safety Program, and other pertinent hospital-wide program plans. Responsible for concurrently and retrospectively abstracting medical records to collect performance data on required elements. Participate in analysis of performance data and coordinate completion of reports for presentation to medical and hospital committees. Assist with development and implementation of strategies aimed at improve performance. Facilitate cooperative and collaborative relationships among departments and with physicians and external agencies to ensure effective patient outcomes. Responsible for coordination of the medical staff quality program plan and the medical staff peer review process.

Current State of South Carolina nursing license preferred. Bachelor degree in healthcare related field required. Master degree in healthcare field preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in the field of healthcare preferred. Five (5) years of experience in quality/performance improvement preferred. Recent experience in core measure abstraction. Experience in statistical concepts, data management, variance tracking, and data analysis/interpretation of clinical data. Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation requirements and CMS regulations; and understanding of current trends in quality and accreditation preferred. Effective communication skills preferred, both in oral presentation and writing. Comprehensive knowledge of Performance Improvement principles and practices preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
