Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products to new and used car customers and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. As with all positions within dealerships, F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc. Establish and meet monthly objectives. The F&I Managers have a responsibility to log in sales income. Verify insurance with customers' agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs.
Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
Job Requirements
It is recommended that the finance and insurance manager is recommended has two years of automotive sales experience and one year in a dealership management position.
Managerial positions are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
F & I personnel require strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees and finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
