Senior Electrical Engineer

Chatham Engineering's staff provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services to a wide variety of clients in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
We work on new construction as well as complex renovations.
Currently we have 11 employees of varied age ranges and specialization areas.
Our office is located in Savannah and we work in a laid back setting.
The majority of our work is within 150 miles of Savannah.

Senior Electrical Engineer Position:
A Senior Electrical Engineer will help us advance our electrical design capabilities for construction projects in the Savannah, GA area.
Electrical Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Design electrical systems primarily for institutional and commercial building construction.
Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time Define customer needs and requirements Ensure that construction meets project specifications and is code compliant.
Coordinate with other design professionals, code officials, owners and contractors.
Examine needs for new projects, calculate loads and help prepare budgets And other duties as assigned Electrical Engineer Requirements:
8-10 years' experience minimum in consulting engineering for commercial and institutional type construction projects, i.
e.
healthcare, schools, colleges and universities, generators, state, local and federal projects.
Registered in Georgia with ability to be registered in South Carolina and Florida.
Proven track record of managing engineering teams, client development and preparing fee proposals and design schedules.
Competent in CADD (Microstation preferred) and BIM (Revit preferred).
Team player.
Focused on project success, including company financial success.
Desire to advance in responsibilities including future partnership.
Experienced in lighting design, power systems design, Comcheck, generator deign, communications systems, fire alarm and arc-fault design.
Electrical Engineer Pay:
$78,000 to $85,000 base plus a generous profit-sharing bonus (Total compensation in the six figures)Electrical Engineer

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
