About Coastal Carolina HospitalCoastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC.
Opened in 2004, CCH joined the healthcare system in 2007 and serves patients in Bluffton, Okatie, Hardeeville and surrounding counties through its care team of over 400 colleagues and over 70 physicians.
The hospital provides many services to the community including a 24-hour emergency department, a dedicated Women's Pavilion, and robotic-assisted minimally-invasive surgery.

RN Med Surg Full Time Nights Position
Summary:
The Registered Nurse on the Med/Surg Unit is responsible for providing safe, effective, culturally appropriate, and population specific nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process.
The RN administers and performs required nursing care and treatments identified on the patients' individualized care plans in accordance with general nursing policy, as well as in adherence to any policies and protocols specific to the nursing unit.
The RN reports to the charge nurse on the unit during the assigned shift.
Assignment is dictated by census and staffing needs.
The RN is also responsible for the direction and supervision of any unlicensed personnel providing care to his/her patients.
THE RN MED SURG FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education:
South Carolina Nursing license or multi-state license from another compact state that is within the prescribed guidelines of the S.
C.
Nurse Practice Act.
Experience:
A minimum of 6 months licensed nursing practice on a medical/surgical unit preferred.
Other
Qualifications:
1.
Current BLS.
2.
Demonstrates and maintains competencies specific to the med/surg unit.
ResponsibilitiesHas effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
QualificationsEducation:

Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
Preferred:
Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
